Would they allow a minor to have one?

Have ID. I'll try, but finding them in a store somewhere would really be more convenient!

What you are looking for is a 10 or 12ml syringe with a 18g 1 1/2 inch needle.

Feed stores have them, actually most drug stores do behind counter. I can't remember where I got mine, I got 35cc's which of course are more practical, why make 3 syringes when you can make one in same time. I'm pretty sure it was an ace hardware/feed store.

Just say you need them for a furniture refinishing project to squirt wood glue in cracks or under verneer. Nothing sounds better than that. But where I got mine, they were out in the open, still felt the need to explain why I was buying them.

you dont have to explain why you are buying them..they want your money anyway they can get it..feed stores are the best way to go..the section where they have all the antibiotic and stuff for horses always has syringes..plus that feed stores carry a lot of other stuff for cultivation..check it out.

I dont know about the us but in the uk you can buy syringes from fishing tackle shops, for injecting flavouring oils and air (for bouancy)in to dead bait for pike fishing. Mine came in a pack of 3 with differing sizes of syringe and needles.
Good luck !

See if you have a TSC around... You didn't say where you lived, but I suspect that if you could find cattle trucks, they could lead you to a place that has them...

Otherwise try this..

If you are having dead ends with all the formentioned advice, you might try a big hobby shop like a Michael's or a Hobby Lobby. There are in the crafts and glues area. Instead of metal, I've seen them with plastic needles. Of course, you can't flame them, but a wipe with an alcohol pad before innoc should do the trick. Surely you won't have to go to these extremes. I can't imagine a feed store not having them. Go to one that sells cattle supplies. People have to give there livestock shots all the time.....

From what I understand from one online supplier is that some places (NY comes to mind) require a 'certificate of need' to be presented prior to them accepting an order.

So I would say no, mmgg is not talking out it's ass.

In my location, you can't just walk into a pharmacy and get what you want without a prescription. But there is no problem going to the feed store. I don't look anything like a farmer, but they don't even bat an eye. I get more questions about why I'm in the asian grocery buying agar.
