An Incredible Experience
    #3007133 - 08/15/04 10:08 PM (19 years, 8 months ago)

I was in Ocean City, MD this weekend, and my friends & I managed to smoke on the beach. It was so awesome to just chill and watch the waves come in, retract and come in again. All the bullshit in everyday life seems so laughable when you're that close to natural beauty. Meditation felt great, just mind blowing. We sat there for about 10 minutes completely silent taking it all in.

And I managed to throw up on the bus, so that's a double plus.

The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

heh, I never thought throwing up on a Bus could be considered part of a good time.

I know what you mean though...just taking a few moments every day to reflect on the beauty and mystery of life is mindblowing!

lol, well, actually I don't remember throwing up! My friends told me, and I wouldn't have believed them if I didn't wake up in a different shirt as well as the shirt I was wearing being..... well, stained. Supposedly, people on the bus were like "let it out man! it's ok!"

Wow, that sounds awesome.  I had a really great ganja experience this weekend. What a wonderful plant, it opens our minds to nature and love and what life is really about.
