Most stealth tek possible for dorm?

My roommate and I are going to try to grow some cubes, but we both live in dorms. We need to try to minimize the chances of being seen above ALL else. Any ideas?
I found these things called MycoBags? I think they were called, but, that still doesn't help me with heating/humidity.
Any links to really stealthy teks would be great, or just advice. Thanks

Mycobags would be the best route since all you do is innoculate teh bags shake when colonized then watch them grow. Any other way and you'd need to cook up jars.

I would use quart jars filled 1/3-1/2 rather then pints if you can PC things. And wrap the bottoms in foil so all the fruits come out the top.

Dude -When I lived in the dorms what I bought a trunk for cheap cleaned it out real well and outfitted it with a light inside. I then bought an aquarium and a hot plate for cookin the jars. It worked out real well for the plain ol' pf style tek. I rarely got contams cause I used alot of H2O2 where I could. Thats pretty stealthy and you can grow as much as the trunk can hold.
Good Luck

hmmmm.... it's just a mass invitro setup. but still looks very cool. i like the sclerotia idea too! you can supposedly speed up sclerotia production if you use a little caffeine in the substrate.

Alright. When I looked at the Invitro tek, it said that with multiple flushes it could yield 7+ grams dried. That seems kind of low? I'm not sure, but it does seem low. 6 weeks is a long time for 7 grams dried. What about the MycoBags? Could I grow more than 7+ grams dried in MycoBags? Also, I noticed that all these teks are based on having a fruiting chamber built in, without the need for a terrarium. You guys have any tips for maintaing proper temperature easily? Like..how would I keep the MycoBags at 76 degrees? On the subject of MycoBags, are they completely self-sustaining? Once they are incubated, will the bags continue to fruit by themselves given proper temperatures and sunlight? There are alot of small things we need to deal with. But I must say..without the need for a terrarium, this seems pretty foolproof. Look forward to your help guys. Thanks

Thats 7+ for each jar 24 jars (case) equals 168gms. dry even half that 12 jars is 84gms. Hell that would last me quite some time (2-3wks.) Seriously thats not a bad deal at all IMHO. Seedling mats work awesome for invitro's in a clear bin if the temps are dropping below 70-72F. You'll want to keep them in something of course so why not one of those large low profile underbed storage bins (perfect!) GL

a friend of mine stores his invitro jars in a 6 inch height rubbermaid bin under his bed. he uses a 6 foot rope light wrapped around the inside of the bin for heat/light. the rope light is on an eletric timer that turns it on for 25 min and off for 75. this keeps it between 80-86. then he turns it on for like 5 minutes every hour for fruiting. the bin is covered in a thick pillow case to keep the ligh/heat inside. all done completely under his bed
-its ok to expose invitro to light from the very start.
