My favourite game is a mod for BF1942 - desert combat.
Other older ones Like Delta force 1,2,3 and Half Life's TFC was great. Old now.
I hate CS But I used to give it a try same as all the mods for HL

Yeah, I think I still have WWP around somewhere.. I rarely played it after buying it, I picked it up at the very least expecting some kind of upgraded version of WA, especially for the online play, but was dissapointed to discover they were pratically the exact same game in that regard..
Team 17 has said they are planning on merging the WA and WWP networks, which would probably make things a bit more interesting..but of course they have been taking their sweet ass time in doing that since they announced it like a year and a half ago..

I chose no, because I don't play them. I don't think they're childish at all. I guess I'd rather just talk online then play games.

I've been addicted since Quakeworld Before I had a PC of my own I used to spend my money at the local internet cafe playing networked C&C:Red Alert with friends, or Quakeworld over their ISDN connection.
I don't know if any Brits here remember Wireplay but I racked up a few hefty phone bills on that before flat-rate internet access took off over here.
I hardly ever bother with single player (Halo was a recent exception), just straight to online multiplayer. Quakeworld and Tribes ate a lof of my life. Recently it's been UT2K4 and City of Heroes.
-------------------- The above is an extract from my fictional novel, "The random postings of Edame". In the beginning was the word. And man could not handle the word, and the hearing of the word, and he asked God to take away his ears so that he might live in peace without having to hear words which might upset his equinamity or corrupt the unblemished purity of his conscience. And God, hearing this desperate plea from His creation, wrinkled His mighty brow for a moment and then leaned down toward man, beckoning that he should come close so as to hear all that was about to be revealed to him. "Fuck you," He whispered, and frowned upon the pathetic supplicant before retreating to His heavens.
