I been thinking...... with all this knowledge here at the shroomery gathered in one melting pot. This would be a great oppertunity to try a collective experiment.
Would'nt it be nice to have a grow Tek that didn't need any sterial conditions?
I know that using a pc ani't no big deal and the teks that have been developed so far are pretty simple. But what I am talking about is something like making box Brownies. You know Dump mix and wait.
We could call it the " BROWNIE TEK " LOL 
I first thought of nature and how she does'nt need a PC and mabey we could figure it out.
Idea number one..... Make up a batch of spore water(right out of the tap) so dense you can't see thru it. Then spoon in some honey. Wait about 8 hours. Then take some straw poo mix you soaked over night on the back porch drain it off and spread it out. Now take you quart or so of super spore water and dump it all over the mix. Fully cover every inch of straw poo mix. The idea being is to get so many spores in there, they win the fight for supremecy and make myc. and well you know the rest.
Anybody up to trying out some ideas? I figure we can talk about it for a while. Then a few of us try the tek ideas we agree on and see if we can solve the mystery.

I once PCed some Sierra Nevada......it was to be the "Sierra Nevada Tek" I figured the malt was 'organic'....... so i wasted 2 cc's ..........the shit that grew was funny as hell to watch!!!!!!!!

High nitrogen levels in the sustraight mix right?
I also remeber reading somewhere about a guy who had used
high concitrations of h2o2 to fight of contaims

yeah, in the substrate. h2o2 is good but it breaks down in the PC so it mast be added post sterilization

the link is on this page "Dry Heat Sterilizing" Magash suggested the PC.......but I wanted to test the motor........circa 1982 GE

i'm thinking nitrogen(bran) is going to be the best bet for fighting contams for the "brownie tek" but am still unsure

Ive seen a guide with sawdust that uses some h2o2 with water to hydrate the sawdust then only steralizes for 15 min because the h202 kills most of the growth.
