i have that milk is one of the only thinkgs that calms down the hullucinations and effects of mushrooms...that there is something in the milk that counteracts with the phycoactive part of themushrooms...i have never tries it but have been wondering if anyone has heard thuis or has drinkin a lot of milk while on mushrooms..does it subside the bad trip?

milk, along with turkey and wine and other common foods, contains tryptophan (sp?). its a chemical that aids in relaxation. hence the old wive's tale that you should drink a warm glass of milk to fall asleep. i dont know much about it on the molecular level or why it affects people this way, look it up.

hmm, well i drank milk during my last trip - it was the only "food" i could successfully consume, as it required no preparation
