Quinoa and Millet
    #2998465 - 08/13/04 01:51 AM (16 years, 6 months ago)

I was looking around the organic foods section at the store earlier and found some whole quinoa. I bought a few pounds to try out for the hell of it. Should I make the jars with just quinoa or mix it with some millet?

Quinoa is a grain that looks similar to millet but it's a little whiter. Supposedly it has very high levels of tryptamines, leading to an increase in potency. I can't find much info on it, but I figured I'd try it for kicks...think I'm going to just mix it with some millet.

What primarily makes certain grains, such as rye/millet, more suitable as a substrate?

I have heard people using a certain percentage of quinoa in there jars, but not 100% quinoa...

But, I say try it out and see what happens..
