Your cousin, I'm sure. Listen man, you don't have to lie to us
However, a quick search on the internet will turn up many free shareware programs that are meant for the purpose of purging deleted files. http://www.zdelete.com/eraser.htm is one of the first ones I found with just a quick search, and there are probably countless others. Just search for "clearing deleted files" or something along those lines

The purpose of Active@ ZDelete software is to protect your privacy by preventing undesirable people to access private deleted data against your will. ZDelete is a cleanup and eraser utility that completely erases selected files, drives, folders, Internet Cache, Internet History, Internet Cookies, temporary files, etc. without any possibility of data recovery. ZDelete is a cleanup and internet eraser utility that completely erases selected files, drives, folders, Internet Cache, Internet History, Internet Cookies, temporary files, etc. without any possibility of data recovery. A User can browse and use the internet without leaving any history or traces of your internet usage on your hard drive. "Integrated Disk Wiper" can also erase data on your hard drives free/available space making the recovery of previously deleted files impossible. ZDelete conforms to the US Department of Defense clearing and sanitizing standard DoD 5220.22-M. Once a file is destroyed using Zdelete it is purged forever. Consider it to be a powerful and flexible data eraser for the information that must be permanently rooted away from the hard drive.

you need to download and scan with both spybot & ad-aware: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware
I also recommend scanning with CWShredder: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html
then I recommend using a general washing program, like BC Wipe or Window Washer.

Ad detection, virus detection, and spyware detection software is all fallible...the companies writing this software are just trying to stay ahead of the evil bastards that create mal-ware.
If you're trying to remove incriminating evidence, back up your files, use a DoD-grade wiping utility on your hard drive, then reformat and reinstall. THE IMPORTANT PART: Before accessing any of your old files from your backup, be sure to install the latest version of your favorite antivirus software and your favorite firewall.
Not to be rude, but most people do not have the knowledge, time, or curiosity required to manually remove some particularly nasty strains of mal-ware. The removal softwares probably won't work on the latest versions and strains, but will eventually catch up with whatever you have.
And send your nephew to www.goatse.cx (if it's still up, I don't care to check), tell him that's what his ass will look like about 24 hours after getting sentenced to prison for child pornography. :o)
