problems with rye from bob's red mill

I have tried 3 different batches all with the same brand of rye berries with no luck. I am knocking it up with some organic honey/water. I have been simmering for 15,30 and 45mins. I pc all batches for a hour at 15 psi. I also drain the rye for 15 mins and wash it twice throughout the process. I never see any contams grow in the batches. I all ways get some spots of healthy myc growth after 3 or 4 days. The growth is very slow and just seems to stop after that. I am thinking it is a problem with mositure but to be honest i am not sure if it is to wet or to dry. By looking at it I would think it is to dry but like i said i am not sure. I read the post by magash(about 4 times and printed it out to read while i did it) but it doesn't seem to be helping with this lastest batch. I will post some pics of the jars within a day. I will be forever in debt to whoever can help me figure out what the problem here is. I should also mention this is not my first grow. thnx in advance for any and all help.

You know I had the same prob with Bob's. To many people use it though so I have no idea whats up but when I changed to another brand I didn't have the little unfinished spots anymore.

Well I am actually glad to find that somone had the same problem as me. I have been racking my mind over this for.....months. now I just need to find a new source for rye berries(which is going to be trickey). Does anyone have any suggestions with a brand of rye (so i can dail in the simmering time, it seems to vary alot). Didn't you say you got your grain locally? Is the store a chain or am I wrong and you get it online? Oh and by the way have you talked to tripmister lately?

I get it at a local health food store. Just a small place not a chain but the rye is from Montanna Milling Company.

Trip is doing fine talked to him a few days ago.
