what's the story of Panaeolus cyanescens
    #2995093 - 08/12/04 12:21 PM (13 years, 1 month ago)

hey guys, i found myself on the shroomery's section on cyanescens and read over them a few times and a found a good amount of basic info, but i'd really appreciate anyone who's had experience with them to be able to give me any info. like how is the potency compared to cubensis, do they stuff higher contam. risks, and any strain recommendations. any small homemade tips on cultivating them would be great. also any notes on the different strains and how they are? all i found so far was "wavy heads" from sporeworks, but saw some BEAUTIFUL ones on a shroomery sections. they were like silverish. thanks guys!

Wavy caps are Psilocybe Cyanescen and are a woodloving species
I posted some info about Pan Cyanescen or Copelandias last night

There is a big difference between these two.
Ps.cyanescens is a cold weather woodlover with a wavy cap - related to subaeruginosa and azurescens and is generally hard to fruit indoors.
Pan.cyanescens is a petite qhiteish grey mushroiom that fruits in man ure in the tropics - its not that much harder than cubies to fruit indoors - the main thing is to fan lots and not to mist once they have began to pin or they will abort.
