a few months ago i asked a friend of mine to send me a few fresh paddy straw mushroom in the post from taiwan. I have cloned them and not long time ago the mushroom have started to grow. check out the pictures! find more images here added: unfortunately the above mushroom is not the paddy straw, somehow the culture got contaminated by some kind of coprinus mushroom, by now i dont know where the contamination came from. maybe the culture dish is still ok but i need furtther experimentation.

the dried culture was too expensive, so i asked a friend to send me some mushrooms in the mail. they are not corpinos. today my mushroom started to sporulate and decompose. but they did not decompose in black ink like corpinos, instead the decomposing agent must be some kind of yeast, since the strong yeasty smell.

HI anno my attempts failed this go with them. Maybe it was to early and fruiting temps wernt optimal, I dunno. I obtained what I believed to be the most prolific culture ever. The dish after a week of full colonization pinned by the 100's. Well I thought so any way. When this culutre was added to grain it would do the same thing. colonize quickly then pinn these tiny little balls. Maybe I isolated a strain of mold I have no clue. But any ways a print would be much apreciated.
