Tripping TV

Hey, sometimes you don't feel like going adventuring in the woods or to a club or what-not, and just want to spend your trip enjoying the hidden comforts of your own home. And while doing that, certain TV shows are a BLAST. I wanted to list a few of my favorites, and also see what your recommendations are:
-Police Squad! (the best by far, even though there are only a few episodes)
-Aeon Flux
-Ren & Stimpy
-plus for me, watching The Simpsons or something like that dubbed into German is always a good time.

Anything else?

hahahaha, i was just thinking about this.

lets see: ren & stimpy, the simpsons, duckman, the critic, the daily show, and i know its not a tv show, but i saw the 5th element with bruce willis on tv that night.

If anyone from the UK has seen a new show called the Mighty Boosh...

It's incredible. Sort of like monty python but with a more regular format.

Seinfeld is my favorite show ever.

Any Seinfeld episode from like late 1995 through to the end is fucking brilliant.

I personally don't watch TV on a day-to-day basis, maybe an hour a month max. However there have been a couple of occasions where I've come across a TV and it has been pretty weird - probably moreso since I don't watch it.

The first time was the final game of World Cup soccer about 2 or 3 years ago, followed by CNN international news. I was on mescaline. Just watching these hugely global, international, 'important' pieces of information coming was a laugh...and the news was a little sobering (well, I didn't feel more sober, but I did sort of get a 'serious' feeling. Lots of talk of war etc etc. and I find American stuff weird in general)

The second time was the 'Brit Awards', some kind of big Pop Star awards show. This time on shrooms. I saw that Avril Lavine chick bouncing around on stage being all shiney, I was nearly in hysterics over the utter absurdity of the whole pop phenomenon. It was rather brilliant.

Then there was a time on LSD that I tried to watch a video of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory...but the visuals were totally fucking with what was on the screen. It was entertaining but hard to follow the plot. Ended up getting naked and running around in the garden.

I think watching TV while tripping certainly brings out new perspectives on things, its pretty interesting. I'd like to try watching some actual shows like you guys mentioned maybe The Simpsons or something. But TV usually just fucks me off.
