Can anyone identify these found growing on my lawn?
    #2990976 - 08/11/04 01:53 PM (13 years, 11 days ago)

Ok folks i'm new to this (my first post & identifying mushrooms). I found these growing on my lawn today, location: Ireland (Europe).

Quite wet today. The underside of the two little ones is quite brown in colour. Note the small ones are all about 1cm in width so these photos were taken up pretty close.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance - great site btw.

look like Panaeolina foenisecii. very common, mushroom most commonly mistaken for Panaeolus subbalteatus.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Well, I cant go on my other computer to check but other images appear to be look normal. Anyone else see them as looking purplish? If they really arent purple, then i would guess that they are Panaeolina Foenisecii but thats just a guess. I can't be sure with the info you provided.
