Little help, please...
    #2988132 - 08/10/04 09:59 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

OK - so my dreads are maybe 2.5 months old, or something around there... overall, they are very nice - except for one small problem: this little dread in the back of my head is getting eaten up by all the others! I'm not sure how this has happened - but chunks of this dread should really belong to other dreads... but they have become all matted up into this mangled dread. Anybody know how to stop this dread from being eaten alive, or should I just give up and accept the fact that I'm going to have a really fat dread back there? Thanks for any help!

Rubber bands placed at strategic locations on the hungry dread should help if not stop the situation completely. Beads would also probably work.

beads are helpful, big wooden ones.
give the hungry dread a good rolling in your palms, if youve used any of that 'dreadwax' stuff, maybe use abit of it tooo.

Hahahaha, how do europeans react to dreads? Anyone even care over there? notice a big difference between random people between the states and overseas?

actually dreads are becoming more and more common in Scandanavia... but, the basic reaction is the same - i'm a half indian guy with big dreads and a beard, people tend to type-cast me as a dirty potsmoking hippy (come on, at least i shower almost daily!) I'm just waiting for the day when I can go to India and pretend to be a Saddhu!
