i wish I could do this everyday!

:sun:

--------------------
Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I wish it was 1:30 in the afternoon - it's 20 past 4:20 for me, and I'M NOT BAKED! WTF?!

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

I went to bed at 6:30 AM, but there's a good reason (sort of) for that. One of my friends, who moved to a different town to study, found a vial of GHB (or was it GBH?) in his pocket. We were chatting on the internet and he told me that he was going to use it that night. My own skepticism as to the validity of that idea aside, I said I'd stay up and keep him company - hey, I was curious to see what would happen. Anyway, we had fun (and he had even more fun). I guess that stuff goes well with anything.

I woke up once at 7:00, again at 8:30 and finally got up at 12:00. Eight-week holidays have gradually bludgeoned my brain into a gelatinous sludge anyway, so today is no great loss.

In two weeks my work schedule will be 3pm to 12am Sunday - Thursday. I can't wait. I've been on crazy hours all summer and need to get back to my late shift. Being at work at 7am some days and noon other days just fucks me up.
