The best way to keep scientific records is to record EVERYTHING you do. I happen to be a scientist (please note that I did NOT say 'mycologist' Capt'n) and I often find that things that I thought were NOT important at the time actually turn out to be very important later on. To have a record that includes everything that was done has saved me a lot of time when deadlines are looming.

Hey, Nushroompharmer ll,
I'm wondering, about this group. Your going to allow some from here join. What is the purpose of this group, and what are the benefits of belonging? Then, what would the requirements for joining be?
thanks for your time, Rxwoman.

Backing up to the original issue of legality, detailed records can demonstrate conspiracy. You could all go down together. You`ve heard the expression, "make a federal case out of it", that`s where conspiracy comes in. The "new" federal guidelines for sentencing guarantee a minimum of 10 years behind bars. Sorry to rain on your parade, but this must be considered.

I`m not trying to make anyone paranoid. I just want you to know of the risks involved in such a venture. Our judicial system would view your cooperative as organized crime. Yes, boards such as this are surely a great source of intel. I`ve no use for paranoia, I do however, need to be careful. Peace.

perhaps you could keep your records online, a HTML file stored on geocities or something of the like, just edit your acct, enter the new info and thats it, only you would know the URL and you could add to it at will, the same could go for a database file like *.xls or an axcess database *.mbd, download it, edit it, upload it, delete your local copy....end of story.
