The Soil & Coffee Bean Method

Hello,
An introduction seems appropriate. My name, for the purposes of this forum, is Richard Long. I have done shrooms once before and didn't really trip. I just got real weirded out about my then current situation. After a long period of not doing any drugs, I have gotten more in touch with my spiritual side, and I would like to grow some shroomies and explore further. I'm a total noob and I know it, so please refrain from laughing at me and pointing and such.
Here's my question (please bare w/ me if I'm too long winded):
I'm currently living with my parents (which, originally was supposed to only be for a few months until i "got back on my feet" but with the current job situation and all . . . ), and so its critical that I can grow these things stealthily. I've read several methods involving pressure cookers and aquariums and so forth, and I just can't think of a way to justify why I have such items in my closet. Idealy, I would like to be able to grow these suckers under my bed, where the parents would not dare to look. So, with that said, I stumbled upon a method involving only a tupperware container, a soil mixture, and coffee beans.
I'm curious if anyone has had any experience with this or similar methods, and, if so, if you would kindly share those experiences.
Thanks,
Richard Long

hey how ya doin? well i'm still relatively new to the whole myco-world but i can say this. i have 3 aquariums, a large rubbermaid storage bin, an oven pan taped on top of another one, and 2 tupperwares (and some random concoctions which look like i made after i ate my own crops). point being out of all, the tupperwares grew first, BUT being only 6 inches high, the mushies started to poke at the plastic-wrap lid to the point that they toppled over and kept growing. i also am using a soil mixture in all of my casings. its a blend of peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, and some other stuff (occasionally when i use a microwave sterilization for the casing, i'll add some coffee grinds to it. if for nothing else it slightly masks the god-awful smell of microwaving dirt) i realize this was long winded, but it worked for me. if it matters, my base layer is moist vermiculite, the cakes are broken up and "cased" and well, i already rambled about the top layer. go for it man. and if you've gotta be discreet... sterilize the stuff the day before and let it cool over night tightly covered, and the rest should only be a 15 minute process. (hope this helped you)

ouch man, added some espresso grinds to my casing, (steralized with my mix) and after a single mushie popped out, the whole casing turned solid green 2 days later... growl...
