it might work like the db compost, but i would still put a light casing layer on top, and you will proly have to spray it once a day. since your dung is just straight dung, and db has wood chips and other things in it, the db compost is alot more moist then reg dung. i happen to have a kit, and the filter patch bag that the dung sits in is always covered in water droplets on the inside of the bag. thats why you dont need to spray a db kit, but i think you will have to spray the sides of your tank about once a day.

good luck on those babies. hope they grow that big for you, that would be f*uckin amazing ;)

Well, one mouthFULL of mushrooms is always plenty to get myself and those around flying. I would imagine a good 20 people could partake in a mushroom that size :)

I would recommend casing the dung. Although in nature they dont need casing soil, but mother nature seems to know a thing or two about mushrooms we dont :) You definatly will need to pasturize it.
