Recent positive stuff in your life

Here's a couple from mine:
-Got a small, but very helpful scholarship from the college I'm going to. -Saw Modest Mouse last night..... WOW, what an amazing concert. -A hot woman bought my friend & I shots the other night for no reason (she was married, damn).
All I can think of right now.

Hey Twirling you didn't see them at Hammerstein did you? I really wanted to go.

Yup, it was the Hammerstien. We had tickets for the 2nd floor and got to sit first row looking out on the stage. It was nice cause we didn't have to stand for a couple of hours, plus the view was nice.
Sorry to hear you couldn't go.

I saw them two nights in a row at Irving recently. They're so goddamn great. Was Float On as awesome in that room as I imagine it would be?
Are you coming to the NYC gathering?

Float On was pretty awesome. The acoustics there are really impressive. They also played some of their earlier stuff which I don't have, so I was pretty blown away at how much they rocked out!
I was actually just looking at the NYC thread right now (from your sig). What's the exact date/time/place? I saw it was Central Park, how far is that from Grand Central Station? I go down to the city every now & then but don't completely know my way around.

I'll tell mycopsycho to PM you the details we're sending out...Central Park is an easy walk from Grand Central - I'll walk you there myself if I need to!

Depends. The park spreads from 59th to above 100th. I don't want to post in a public forum where we're meeting exactly, but the walk really isn't that bad..20 blocks to the entrance of Central Park, and then a winding path to get to where we're meeting exactly.

I just got a second job so I can pay off my credit card debt I haven't smoked ciggs in over a month I have doom 3 I have food I have shelter I have clothing I have good friends I have the shroomery I have this new poi set that I'm trying out so I can bring it to future gatherings I'm alive
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I just purchased a guitar, A washburn A-10, had mushrooms yesterday, and have recently found a reliable acid hookup. Found a new interest in Sacred Geometry over the course of my last 3 mushroom trips. Stuff has been very good to me lately

hmmm i moved from Copenhagen to Michigan to work for 5 months... got a great job the day after i got back, working for a friend of mine - really lucky because it isn't the easiest thing for a guy with big dreads to get a job that isn't washing dishes! umm.... met a great girl last friday, thought i'd never see her again, but somehow she got my number and called me on sunday, and wants to get together... maybe i'll get to go to coventry on wednesday, otherwise i'm going to northern michigan to camp with my family (who i haven't really seen in the past two years since I've lived abroad)... basically things are going great... a bit crazy and strange, but it makes them more fun that way!

lots more minor shit like my groceries were actually bought, including the cat food. so i'm good for right now.
just lack of seeing the boyfriend is the only real bummer i guess.
