Why I will not be voting for Bush

1. I disapproved of his handling of the Sept. 11 attacks. While I have seen no evidence of his complicity or incompetency in regards to what happened before the attacks, I think his behavior during and after the attacks was lacking.
a. He continued reading a children's story while he knew that planes were being flown into buildings. In my opinion any President worth a shit would have immediately taken charge of the situation. His delay was inexcusable.
b. His address to the American people said that the reason that the terrorists "hate us" is because of our freedoms. That is a lie. They hate us because of our support for Israel and other Middle Eastern regimes. He should have been honest when addressing the American people.
2. His verbal skills are lacking. I am of the opinion that what comes out of a person's mouth is indicative of what is going on in their head. Given how many times I have heard President Bush blunder not only with his grammar but his arguments, I question whether he has the intellect to be President.
3. It now appears as if the WMD argument was complete bullshit. And he seems unwilling to admit that the WMD assertion was a mistake. I however still support the invasion of Iraq for political reasons(I listed them in another post). I surmise that these political reasons were thought of by the President and his advisors and the WMD argument was a convenient excuse. In summary, I do think that the President believed that Iraq had WMD, but I also think he had major political reasons for invading Iraq. I think he should be up front and honest about the whole situation, and I don't think he has been.

I'm voting him out for some of the same reasons.
also, Im hoping the democrats will bring jobs back home. I work directly in a company that does the US / India support thing and let me tell you. They are fucking idiots in india overall when it comes to IT shit. Horrible customer satifation, taking our jobs, etc.
his plans to fix our economy seem to not be working or at least not in his term.
His tax break for children did kick ass though. I get more cash back now for having kids which is a bonus to me. But that doesnt outweigh the fact that I'm at more then 50% of what my salary SHOULD be if the market wasnt completely destroyed.

I realize this is a tad bit off-topic but...I will indulge in this real quick:
I work directly in a company that does the US / India support thing and let me tell you. They are fucking idiots in india overall when it comes to IT shit. Horrible customer satifation, taking our jobs, etc.
I watch the news and have repeatedly heard how a lot of technology related jobs are being sent to India from the U.S. It's funny because whenever I call about one of my appliances(computer, tv, etc..), an Indian that I can barely understand(and that can barely understand me) answers the phone.
the fact that I'm at more then 50% of what my salary SHOULD be if the market wasnt completely destroyed.
Quick question for you:
It sounds as if you are a technology person(engineer or something like that). I have recently been thinking about going back to college and before I was an engineering major. I don't think I will go back for that, but it of course is an option because I have already studied it somewhat. Do you think the Engineering professions in America are secure and worth entering into?

I think certain engineering fields are still good, although on a semi slow decline.
It really depends on what kind of engineering you want to get into.
Civil should still be good as growth rate is increasing.
*ANYTHING* computer related you might as well damn yourself to a shitty salary, constant failing business, bankrupcy's, etc.
bio engineering is bank.
Anything medical, bank.
etc.

My reasons are a little more basic. He ran on a plateform of being a true conservative and lied. His "control" over the population is quite frightening to me (opposite of smaller govt.) and many people just think of it as ok. My family was shocked when I told them that i'm voting for Badnarick (they're very religious). I relly wish there was a candidate that actually had similar views as I hold and I could be proud to vote for them, but since i've been able to vote there hasn't been one.

True...his excessive government spending(we have big deficits) shows that he is not a fiscal conservative...which is what we desperately need if America is ever going to get out of debt.
