Datura plants

I took these pictures after a light rain to get the dew drops on the flower and leaves. I have three species of datura at the moment...datura stamonium, metel and inoxia...they are pictured in that order.

I just grow these for fun  they are amazing plants to have around the house.
stramonium bloom

look at the stems of the metel, they are almost black in colour

inoxia

That is perhaps the most beautiful picture of a stramonium flower that I have ever scene. I've been growing and photographing Datura for three years now and I have yet to capture the essense of stramonium as well as you have here. I've actually been contemplating taking my photo's of Metel and innoxia to Kinko's to get them enlarged and framed as I've been scouring the net for some nice posters and pictures of Datura but can't seem to find anything I like.

Dutura are beautiful plants and have a great fragrance to the flowers in the evening. Don't care much for using them though.
