pinning/80% colinized?

if a jar is about 80 percent colinized and start pinning, would they be ok if grown invitro?

yes, theoretically it should be okay i am surprised though b/c pinning is the mushroom's way to spread after they have expanded as much as possible in a paticular area you could either grow in vitro or fruit and cut off uncolonized areas with a sterile knife

by cutting off uncolinized portions, doesnt this just leave another uncolinized are where the previous was?

no cut them off, leaving only colonized areas so there is less room for contams to muscle in i prob would go invitro though to keep from fucking with developing pins don't expose to light so early and you might not have this problem...

i do not actually have this problem, i was just asking it as a hypothetical question because i was interested in what do do shall the problem ever arise.

Dont expose them to light and keep them at high temps with small gas exchange while colonizing and you should avoid the problem arising to begin with. Dont ask what to do with about a problem you dont have, ask how to avoid getting problems you dont have and then if you do get them ask what to do. I think you'll find you get less problems
