Cobweb is slightly greyish and very wispy (fine)if it is otherwise is is just a tomentose (cottony) breakout.

Do they look like this?

they do not seem gray, and they are growing like cotton balls mostly around the top and bottom(ends) where the verm is.one is actually pretty big the size of a pencil eraser.it is white and looks like a very tight compressed cotton ball(does look fuzzy, fine)

Sounds like hyphal knots to me. If they are, they'll turn into pins, so that's a good sign.. I'm kind of a newb myself, though, so feel free not to listen to me. :P

Here is some good info on cobweb, with several pics. http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23418 (scroll down, it's like the third one) Yes, it does spread very fast. Just keep an eye on it. If you do end up misting with h202, just make sure it's diluted, not straight from the bottle. Personally, I like to use 10/1, water/peroxide.

by your description it reminds me of hyphal knotts as well - wait a few days and your balls will have colour on the tip.
