maybe time is one way in which we perceive space.

time repreats its self while going forward, because that is the only way to go after repeating mistakes and seeing what goes wrong.Time repeats, goes forward, repeats, goes forward, and all of that.Heh,its just an idea,i don't know if i belive it

Time just is, I think. We are perceiving it in a forward direction.

The future exists, just like the space in front of you exists. You just aren't there yet

I think trendal has it right, but I do not believe that the future is completely fixed, we can do things in the present which will determine future conditions. I can chose to grow some mushrooms today, and I will have some in a few months; this future condition of having mushrooms is not set in stone; it is contingent upon me planting them.

i dont want to get into the whole free will issue...

"maybe time is one way in which we perceive space."
i was thinking...

that maybe time itself has space!
kinda like another dimention we can't preceive?

but for some reason i find it hard to belive that time exists byond the NOW and well... come to think of NOW is kinda like infinety also?
the moment is infinit right? infinitly small?

and ummm... just to quote Modest Mouse

"Infinity spirals out creation
We're on the tip of its tongue, and it is saying
Well...
We aint sure where you stand
You aint machines and you aint land
And the plants and the animals, they are linked
And the plants and the animals eat each other"

Time itself having space is how I understand it to be. It exists in a dimension all it's own that seemlessly overlaps itself unto experiences.

Time is highy perceptual too because of how and can seem to speed up or slow down expand or close in on itself..

Take the posters idea of time moving forward and repeating itself, "cyclicly speaking" only picture the repeat moving through the last run. Guiding intuition is drawn from that energy. veils are placed between them ever so thin, just enough to make everything else happening in simultaneous time and the dimension in the here and now go unseen- but they can be felt if you tune in.

Linear time is an illusion. Who says moments have to move one in front of another like a film reel? A multi dimensional experiences it differently. Time is experienced in sidways, backward and up and down movement as well. Like a core pushing out unto itself in a sphere.

I was shown that in a dream.

if your sensy feely and intuitive, you can tap into the timelines when you are making decisions. Consider one choice and then feel you way up the sting of the time line. If you feel negative, make a new choice until you grab a line that feels really good. Then hold unto that vibration and the line will take you there.

With the same method, you can idealise a realistic future outcome and then feel what it would feel like if it were sure to manifest and then follow that feeling to take you there.

This shit really works. But it takes disapline to hold onto the strings "vibrationally speaking" and not give way to fear or doubt or you will end up on another timeline that resonates with a negative outcome.

Time is fun to play with. Fun Post!

Saint Augustine once noted that "the past does not exist anymore, and the future does not exist yet, but the present is merely the point where the past is continuous with the future." This point of past-future continuity which we call now seems to be infinitely small, to the point where one could argue that it doe not exist. Yet we can never experience past or future; we can only experience now. From my perspective, it is always now.

What then is time?

The past and future don't really 'exist.' All that exists is the present. What is the future anyway? It's just moments that you haven't experienced yet. What is the past? It's just moments you've already experienced. If all that exists is the present moment, then that should tell a little about the nature of time. The only reason we see time as 'linear' is because of cause and effect. I think time is indeed an additional dimension like space, but we don't experience it properly. The present we constantly experience is like one tiny dot within a complex 3-dimensional fractal.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Good question related to this. You have bulbs flashin in my head related to moving into multi D time perception by tuning into universal rythems. Who knows where this question will take me in thought. Should be fun ride.

Time is change.

The fact that once past, things can't go back.

That's it.

I could be wrong.

Time ? who knows..... I think time is inflicted upon us in the dimension we exist in now... yet, in other dimensions, time holds no bounderies....and then there would have to be inbetween existences where time travel/halt/continuation would be possbile...

I'm with magnum, time is change. Time exists only because our ego needs something to measure change and events. Without the ego there is no time. Without the ego infinity will pass in less than the blink of an eye, and the changes will happen so quickly it will be pure chaos. Which is why evolution had our egos perceive time

What is time to a tree? What is time to a star?

well, those things exist longer, but time still effects a tree or star.. more like : what is time to god.. what is time to our soul, what is time while we dream?

Everything time measures does exist, but time itself is a measurement, and therefore only exists if someone is there to measure it (our ego.) Otherwise, chaos, speed, change, everything that time measures will continue, but there will be no measurement of it

Time is just a measurement. We should look to what time measures to fully understand how it works
