I had other CD cases in the backseat, on the floor.  I know they got looked through because someon asked if we could play non-electronica and I said all I had was a few CD's and said where they were.

*shrug*

its not a big deal since im getting a rip anyways..

But its annoying when I want to listen to it!

You would think artists would learn with the heroin thing by now.

The thing is, if you look at a lot of bands, the years of heavy heroin use also coincide with their best material. I guess there's some connection between heroin and creativity.

I dunno, correlation is not causation, just because artists were doing heroine and putting out good music at the same time is no indication that the heroine was any help. If anything heroince causes strife and pain, which are good topics for music.

brads voice was amazing, and his mentality was up there with the best. The music was simple, anyone can play it, yet the messaage and the magic was just so great. I have listend to the same 4 ablbums for years and still dont tire of them, they always make me want to sing.

Not sure if they really pioneered a new type of music, its basically just regae with a splash of punk, but they did write some legendary tunes. by far my favorite band of current time, i put nowell up with hendrix, marley and waters....

Someone made a comment that out of 4 or 5 CD's it seems to impossible not get sick of them.  I can't help but wholeheartedly agree with this.

I can't listen to Sublime and not sing along.  I can't just listen and not feel anything.  Weather it's silliness or thoughfulness or pain.  Bradley's voice goes right through you, with a little bit of funk.

Wherever his is...I'm pretty sure that he knows how many lives he's touched.

This thread reminded me of Nico by Blind Melon. You should go buy that album to test your theory.
