What do mean 'dried out existing mycelium' ?

If the 'insides' were uncolonized... and you broke them up, and messed with it, there's a good chance it will contam, but whats done is done... you still may get 1 flush out of it if it does contam.

Pavlov's got a good point, use your nose....smell it often....if it starts to stink get rid of it...
