wow, and they wasn't colonized inside? if your using it in casings you should be ok...

What do mean 'dried out existing mycelium' ?

If the 'insides' were uncolonized... and you broke them up, and messed with it, there's a good chance it will contam, but whats done is done... you still may get 1 flush out of it if it does contam.

Pavlov's got a good point, use your nose....smell it often....if it starts to stink get rid of it...

Quite the contrary taz, they would probably do fine as cakes, but cased, they will most likely fail. :crazy:
