possible Foen

found today..lots and lots of em

a. SouthEast, MI, in fresh cut grass
b. gills brown, attached
c. no measure
d. stem white/tan/pinkish, hollow, thin, brittle
e. cap narrow conic, dark brown, reddish
f. (gonna wait longer) i'll be back
g. dark bruise i pinched it pretty hard
h. Scent dif, kind of herby, tho faint

thinking (how you say?) Panaeolus Foenisecii ?? not sure

Newp, those are Conocybe lactea. Not active. Not edible.

Even if they were Pan. Foe., what would have been the thrill? They're an extremely common mushroom but not edible nor active...
On the other hand, it's always good to test and refine your iding skills :smile:

Foen's will have a darker band along the margin of the cap.

yeah, i see those concybe lactea's growing in my lawn everyday. Actually, i see about 20 new ones pop up every morning because the grass always gets watered. btw i live in yakima,wa. I also ocasionally find foenisecii's also.
