Fully colonized, but no pins

DAY 12 (From sub to tub)




I have set the fruiting condition.

-4 days ago I have increesed FAE by removing air blocators from my filters.
-3 days ago started misting
-2 days ago I have lowered room temperature from 26*C to 24*C
-1 day ago I have cracked my lid a bit to allow faster evaporation of the water beads.

...I don't have idea how primordia would form there and those white sticks seems totally useless. Nothing is changing, mycelium is so aggressive that is blocked those small holes for air. I guess mycelium is still in phase of colonization even though I have introduced heavily fruiting condition... althought some folk says there shouldn't be difference in conditions between colonizing and fruiting... :sad: :confused:

Too many holes in the tub and I don't see much condensation collecting on the tub walls.

Looks like the mycelium is stressed with all the rhizomorphic growth ontop. I still see coir so its not fully colonized yet, patience is key in this hobby.

Get back to us within a week to see if they have pinned yet or not.

26*C to 24*C is a bit too high. You want to be sitting at 22-24 at the maximum. I aim for 22-23

That looks bacteria as hell and dry. And on the side looks not to be colonized well. Id personality dunk the substance in water 10 mins,drain, paper towel pat down and place back in fruiting container.  Then  chill out, 4 days isn't that long to wait to pin.

Yeah, I have too many holes on the tub. This tub design is for winter actually when there is more moisture in the air. Should I just wrap them in plastic foil and do FAE with a cracked lid?

It is colonized 95%, that 5% is where the open hole was, other holes were wrapped in plastic foil during colonization. When I saw rhizmorphic growth I concluded that mycelium is craving air and then I removed plastic foil.
I have patience, but time is against the tub if I'm tuning it wrong.

It's colonized 95%, except little part where air has been comming in during colonization. That linear thing on the side is the shadow, that's why it looks uncolonized. Field capacity was perfect, it's not dry, tub is heavy, I think surfaces are dried because of too much air, there are too many holes on the tub.
My plan is to wrap that tub in plastic foil and do FAE with cracked lid only.
The sub smells good, I don't think it has contamination.

Thanks, I hope so. I see some greenish color on the tips of the mycelium that is growing towards the air holes. I hope they are just bruises.

Oh, tnx. AI shocked me so hard, she said that trich is often hiding behind the fuzzy feet, and I was like "oh Nooo" :grin: , I was hoping that it was a bruise and I thought that fuzzy feet caused it, but now I see that I caused it by squeezing on harvest... didn't know cubensis shrooms are so sensitive... :cheers: :psychsplit:
