A Cook's Tour

One of my favorite foodnetwork shows of all time is back on. They stopped airing it for many months, but looks like its back, but uncertain for how long. You foodies should check it out, foodnetwork, sunday 5pm CST

I think it's such a great show because Tony Bourdain is so blunt and at times bitter about the food, people, and generally everything. Great show.

Hah, quite an interview:

The book A Cook's Tour is great, really goes behind that TV G bs that the foodnetwork did to that show. Also Kitchen Confidential is a really good book. I've been reading on other boards, but I don't think there is going to be a dvd version.

Definitely read the book- way easy read, thoroughly entertaining, way fun. Also for those in the restaurant biz, "Kitchen Confidential" should be required reading. Bourdain also has some fiction out ("Gone Bamboo") that's in the vein of thriller, back alley espionage. He never ceases to amaze me with his cool, ex-doper, been-there-done-that attitude.
