ID on some Fungus I Found
    #29593819 -

Hey all, went for a little forage today, found some wood loving fungus growing. I had the dogs in one hand and they were trying to pull away to smell things so I couldn't feel them. I didn't get spore prints because I was walking the dogs, so if this post isn't allowed let me know and I'll take it down.

Does sp. in Gymnopilus sp. stand for species? or something like spectabilis?
I was looking through the "vWhich psilocybin mushrooms grow wild in my area?" thread, and it states in South Australia Gymnopilus sp. grows, though google isn't giving me a clear answer.
If it does refer to species, surely not every Gym is active?
