I perfer a tea. They mask the flavor of the mushroom 100%, and it's all a drink. You should eat the stuff that's in there too, the consistency is kinda nasty, but no taste.

I haven't heard anyone making the distinction between taste and nausea from shrooms. I don't really mind the taste but I am very prone to nausea on just 1.5 g, (want to go higher, but fear of nausea keeps me in check) I have tried chewing them completely so my stomach has less trouble breaking them down, I have cut them into pieces and popped them like pills, I have taken them on empty stomach and with food, I seem to get very nauseous no matter how I choose to take them (I thought this was just part of the experience that must be accepted) if there is a way to minimize the nausea which IME has nothing to do with taste I would be eager to add it to the methods I have tried so far. One thing I have not yet tried is grinding to powder and capping, but this is usually posted as a way around having to taste them, which is not my issue.

What I did last time was make tea as usual.
Powdered mushrooms into just boiled water for a couple of minuits and strained. Added Ribena, which covered the taste completely.
I held in each mouthfull and swurled it around for about 3-5 mins and by the time I had finished the cup it was kicking in. Another 10 mins and I was tripping quite strong. A lot more than what I expected from the 2 grams I used.
It caught me quite off guard actually

I always mix my shrooms with a cup or too of orange juice throw em in the blender then gulp it down with my nose plugger  . Hits you hard as hell and you don't notice the ground up mushrooms cause it blends with the orange juice pulp.

I think when I first try them, I will just brign some pop and wash them down with some pop or something.

Even tho I dislike the taste, when I'm caught up in anticipation of tripping, I eat 'em plain, washing down with whatver drink is around at the time. I've had some nasty combos...shrooms chased with beer, coca cola, and even water(nasty).
The worst was when I had a mouthful of dry shrooms, and actually took a sip of water while they were still there. They expand into a nasty nasty pulp....but Its always worth the couple uncomfortable minutes of eating them.
Just get em down

Well, what I usually do is don't eat for 3 or 4 hours beforehand. Then I drink a 6 pack before I get to the mushrooms. Then, when it comes time to eat the shrooms, I am buzzed enough off of the beers that I don't care what they taste like.
Then, I stop drinking and the alcohol wears off around the time the shrooms kick in. That may not work for people with weak stomachs, but I have stomach problems when eating mushrooms and when I do it's very minor.

Living in eastern KY, I have access to incredible moonshine. I like to grind or chip my edibles and add to half cup of apple pie shine. The apple and cinnamon blend well with the shrooms. Quite tasty and a small alcohol buzz to start things off!

I always put my dose in a small plastic container and grind them to bits with my fingertips. I leave some larger chunks along with the fine powder, as it helps keep the dose from hitting too hard, too fast. I like a slower comeup.
Then I pour about a shot's worth of oj in a glass, mix in some of the dose, swish it around, and drink it all in one gulp. Repeat as many times as necessary.
I absolutely hate the taste of these things and have found this to be the easiest way of getting them down. How in the world people can handle eating several grams of dried shrooms on a peanut butter sandwich is beyond me. I gag just thinking about it.
