Prints vs Syringes which is easier
    #2957393 - 08/02/04 05:24 PM (19 years, 8 months ago)

I've been looking at the price of syringes vs spore print. Prints seem to be more expensive. What are the advantages of buying a spore print over a syringe?

Can someone explain the advantages of spore prints over syringes to me please? (I'm personally a syringe guy myself, but as my collection of empty syringes continue to grow, I dont have a use for them)

one of the advantages of a print over a syringe and what makes up for the expense it that you can generaly get 4 syringes from a single print, the best part of a syringe is that they are guaranteed sterile and are replased by the vendor if you have a contammed syringe, premade syringes are also easier to use

if its your first time you should think about using a syringe, then practice making prints and syringes from what you grow.

Well with that many syringes lying around I would think you have enough experience to make your own. It is very easy.

There are many different tek's here do a search on the home page

Can you point me to a tek which explains the process of converting a spore print into a syringe?

And you say sporeprints are guaranteed sterile? What is it about the spore printing process that makes this so? Thank you for the quick response

patience my good friend is something I dont have a large supply of, if I can buy a print and make my own syringes with the needles I've gathered, that would be good.

Plus If they're guaranteed sterile that would be one less problem I would have to contend with. I just make sure my procedure is clean:)

in the FAQ (top right of your screen) you should find every thing you sould ever need to produce clean viable syringes from prints, the basics are make sure you sterilize every thing you use, I prefer to print on glass because of its ease of use, work in a glove box or under a flow hood

The vendors will guarantee their syringes as sterile, the prints are a little different because of the methods in which you handle it

Your whole thread makes no sense to me.......

I mean why buy prints if you can just makem.......youv'e implied that you have grown them in the past....(i.e. 6 empty syringes)

Am I missing something here? Is your search button broke? I don't wanna sound like a flammer yet I can Read!

I dont feel insulted, I appreciate the appology, I just dont understand why you guys assumed that Big made prints from anything he had grown in hte past, many people dont as they see supporting a vendor with $10-$20 every few months isnt a big expense

when I was cultivating I would make a few prints from each strain every couple of years, I grew simply to understand the proscess' involved and to try new things.

I understood the questions he was asking because I remember being new and asking many of hte same questions in a.d.m. a few years ago, had it not been because of the help of people like Yachaj, PF, Steven Peele and a few others that were kind enough to assist as oppose to flame I dont think I would have ever perfected my techniques...

the reason this community and all of us are here is to help each other to discover the joys this hobby can provide... help us all help everyone thats new, its not that painful to share your knowledge and encourage people to search and ask questions on what they dont understand....

You are indeed a wise man/woman. Thank you for being able to understand a VERY VERY simple question. You alone, (and Magash) seem to understand, why these "others" do not is beyond me.

I will apologize for my laziness however as I should use the search MORE frequently. Big ups to Prisoner #1 5 shrooms 4 u:)
