It's my birthday today!
    #2955632 - 08/02/04 11:56 AM (12 years, 4 months ago)

I'm 20 today (Aug 2). Anyone want to hook me up with a "reliable" astrology prediction based around that so I can keep track and see how well it forsees what's going to happen? I'm honestly curious.

Personaly I'm not a birthday fan
I just can't get into the 'Happy Birthday' mood

and I feel fake feigning it

is that a strike against me?

I'm not a birthday fan either but I can wish you well while I am here! :birthday:

You looked like this 20 years and 9 months ago :sperm:

If I beleived in conspiracies out to get us, I would say the birthday party was one of them. " Get the humans to buy into old age and death and they will make it happen. We will invent the birthday so they can keep track of how old they are growing and produce the stereotypical signs of aging at the appropriete time.  Silly humans, they don't know their creative power and we'll keep it that way" Ha ha"

I don't do birthdays. I am eternally 19!

Well this party beers on me! :rastamon:

Wait, you arn't old enough to drink. That must be a part of the conspiracy too!

Fuck em!!

Birthdays to me dont make logical sense although it is a very pagan custom ( much like christmas now adays) it makes little sense. Without the creation of a calendar we wouldnt have 'birthdays'. I guesse it is a conspiracy by major corporations to create the spending of money on their products, Valentines day for instance came to us through a wondrfull little card Bussiness chain called 'Hall Mark'. The simpsons have a funny episode where these huge corporations are trying to invent a new 'Umph day', they ended up calling it Love day and marge went out to buy a bunch of 'Love day' related gifts. ofcourse little Lisa being aware of her world around her questioned the validity of the day and the orgins of it.

Ahhh the simpsons , u gotta love theyre culture ass slam episodes.

Con mucho Amor
PEACE

Somehow I just don't equate Birthdays as an excuse to be happy.
I'm Grinchy that way

Thats one of my problems with "special days too". At christams we are suppose to be 'extra nice and giving" On aniverseries we are suppose to be extra lovey and thoughtful. On grandparents day we are suppose to visit our senial grandparents with hallmark cards who don't even remember who we are. Its all phoney pretentious BS

I'll be extra nice and thoughtful to my family friends when I feel like it and not when a hallmark holiday tells me too. I will go celebrate when I just feel happy to be alive at the moment and not because the calender is marked Jiggys B-Day. I will buy gifts for people when I feel appreciative and am inspired too, not because I am obligated to by someone elses rules of the game. I make my own rules!

It's so much nicer and more meaningful  to get flowers "just because" on a random boring day then it is to get them on Valentines day.

The other problem with this shit is tradition. "We will keep the humas repeating the same old shit to stifle their growth and ability to create change with something called tradition. We'll have them stuck in the dark ages forever Ha ha"

Rush is rock band and "closer to the heart" is the name of a song and part of the lyrics in it.

A heart rush does sound like fun about now.

I love the song!

Philosophers and the plowman
Each much know his part
To sow a new mentality
Closer to the heart

woaooooooh you can be the captain
and i will draw the charts
sailing into destiny
Closer to the heart........................

When you feel what you are doing instead of just think your way through it, you feel so alive! Live closer to the heart!
