what was the primary method of growing shrooms before the great pf tek?

well this is wut ive been told about 2 years ago by a 50 yr old hippy neighbor.....

make a cabinet, set it outside, grab some cow shit, and take yur mushrooms u baught in a bag, and run some water over the manure and break up the mushrooms cap, and mix it in with the manure ...wait a couple of weeks... and u get a few mushies lol

Inoculating grains either directly by spores or agar, and then casing the grains, or spawning it to pasteurized dung, straw or compost.
