I really dont have a topic but I`ll start with Ripple...allways a good way to start a thread anyway... Ok Ripple i know you probably kinda turned ya nose up to the "Love Songs" cd i sent you Listen to the #2 song ..."The one Sacrifice" #8 "Believe" and #11 "Blessed" The last song "Circle of Life" is verry good also I`ve never been a big Elton fan ...I dont know how i ended up with the CD either because i didnt buy it...but those 3 songs kept coming back to my mind during the day while working....
I was into Tumbleweed and Madman Across the Water back when Elton first started out...Im pretty shure you liked his stuff back then also because it was all we heard on the radio when that old stuff first came out...
Well thats the only thing that comes to mind right now and my glass is empty....My helpers GF left some Smirnoff Raspberry spritzerr stuff and i been mixing it with a bottle of Chardonay..? Who says Texans dont have class..
Hey ~Piller head this is my Gibson MK81 i sold to some dude in Japan on E-Bay...I really wish sometimes i still had it because it had a wonderfull tone that really blew away any Taylor or Martin acoustic but it had very shallow frets ...You really had to concentrate when playing this one or you would sound real bad....it had a few small scratches above the pickguard from a pick...This is without a doubt the most beautifull acoustic guitar i have ever had but i got it in the early `80s...they only made 150 of them in `77 n `78 and the 1st owner paid 2K for it...I installed a 17,000 BTU window unit that cost me about $500 and I had to install burgular bars but it was worth it

Hi there! This topic has nothing to do with me, but I thought I'd say hello anyways. So hello and what's up?

I dont like the older stuff on that CD ...I mean shit how many times can you hear "Daniel" an still ever like it. I hate that song due to overplay...I dont even have a copy of Darkside of the Moon because of overplay ...I still love/listen to Darkside but its just not as special...Gotta try an get a few hrs sleep because i have a shitload of service calls that i recieved today...The heat yesterday an today was horrendously hot ...90% humidity at like 95 degrees = instant sweating...

Paw Paw I can't sleep right now either...in fact, I'm almost completely nocturnal right now. I'll go to sleep probably around 11AM tomorrow.
Sorry you're feeling restless. As for Dark Side of the Moon, I love it, but that's only because I listened to it while tripping. Have you ever noticed that you develop a special fondness for music that you've tripped to? I might be tripping to the Dead this weekend and I haven't done that before so it will be exciting.
take care nightowls!!
love,
*me*

I can't stand the Texas heat. Just stepping outside for a moment makes me feel like my brain is boiling...part of the reason why I tend to avoid the daytime in the summer.
