How does peat moss compare to cow shit?? Cause i can get cow shit anytime but it has rained for like the last week so i havent had any luck goin out to the farm to get any

Should i sanatize the peat moss and how much lime for like a gallon bucked of peat moss should i add? What if i dont add lime to it what will happen?

I dont think they are in the same category, you dont want to case with horse shit... so they dont compare. Now you can SPAWN the shit, then case it with peat..... but thats another topic...

I pressure cook my peat, when I use peat... you can pasturize it, or put it in the oven... maybe someone else here who uses the 'oven method' can give exact time/water ratio.

as far as buffering..... you want it to be nuetral, so get a PH test kit then add lime until your PH is nuetral, it will say on the kit.

If you dont add lime, you will get trich sooner, possibly after your first flush
