Good! Keep your casing layer thin as I imagine you`ll be growing them in the same terrarium.

10-4 i went ahead and hooked up just 3 cakes in terrium on lids in perlite . if im gonna casing would it matter if the jars i use still had small uncolinized area size of dime or should i wait till fully done.

Exactly how would you case and cake in the same terrarium?
Do you thin out your casing layer?

I agree that you should birth your cakes, even if there is still a dime sized patch left. It's a probably a wet spot, if not, no diff. You can put the cased and non-cased side by side, just remember that the cased cakes are drawing moisture from the casing. The uncased cakes absorb moisture from the air. I'd lower the temp to 70 to help induce fruiting.
