Heating Pad?
    #2949872 - 07/31/04 09:56 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

O.K. Using the PF Tek. Am I crazy or can't I
use a heating pad under my rubber maid container
and slighlty heat the dampened perlite to build
up the humidity? As long as it stays humid I shouldn't
have to worry about drying out the cake right? Any
help please!

a heating pad would probley create too much heat to fruit. perlite should be enough. u can also try misting the walls if u need more.

Important: Air exchange. u dont want nasty cobweb ruining ur whole operation.

A heating is ok for tempory. For long term use get a heater.
Heating pads were ment to be used for short periods. They are a fire hazard. :goodluck:
