I don't know why so many people think 50/50+ is magic, all a casing does is add water to the substrate, the fruiting power is in the substrate not in the casing.

I know you don't need a 50/50+, but verm does hold water.
Next time I'm gonna grind some perlite and try that together with peat moss in a casing!

That's also why I added some nutrients to rye in one Equador jar. To see if it makes a difference we will weigh yields!
