I'm listening to Phish, 10/31/96 - Set III, when they cover the entirety of Talking Heads' Remain in Light.
Sweet fucking shit.

Mmm...I'm in the mood to smoke a ridiculous amount and listen to Echoes (song, not compilation) now that you said that..

Have you got Slip Stich and Pass, pillow? That's a good fucking live record right there..Doors references, Talking Heads cover, even a Barbershop Quartet version of Hello My Baby...good stuff.
Coventry'll only be my 7th show, my first being back in November, and I definitely wish of all people cool dudes like you fromt he shroomery could get to experience it - especially since the lot scene there is so fucked and full of preppy kids hawking shitty rolls and fake acid...
We'll send the good phish vibes your way

Time to head back to the island of Manhattan and try to occupy time (in other words, find a friend with dank nugs who wants to help a brother in neeeeeeeeeeeeed!)
Nice talking to you all, have a good night...
And by the way, regarding the Flaming Lips, if all you psychonauts haven't heard their first few albums, you are missing out. There are two collections one is called: Finally, The Punk Rockers Are Taking ACID, 3 discs, their first three albums, totally hard rock psychedelic. The next compilation is The Day They Shot a Hole in the Jesus Egg which is their next album and a bunch of bonus stuff.. Awesome to listen to tripping.
Good night!

E: Big Black Furry Creature From Mars i'm listening to disc 2 right now (wilson--->YEM) In the begining of wilson jon fishman is saying "i see a lot of you smoking out there (people cheer) but unfortunately you can't, this is a very old theatre and it's made of wood [blah blah], (crowd is kind of booing), or else we won't be able to do shows here anymore) Great show! Curtain>cavern is sweet. Magilla>Maze is awesome, its a very cool magilla into maze which im on and is smoking. I haven't listened to this YEM in a while and im looking forward to that.
