Newbie Beware! - The Keeper
    #2943878 - 07/30/04 08:22 AM (19 years, 7 months ago)

Im sure most of the people into growing knows about this guy "The Keeper".

What he basicaly does is take a generic cubensis strain & slap a bullshit name on it "Star Gazer", "Z strain" etc........... anything that willl catch the attention of new people in the world of mycology. But heres the really bad part. Syringes cost from the range of 25-80$ A PEICE!

Hes been doing this for years, none of his strains are unique and dont get cought up buying and of this shit like many have in the past.

Some of his strains MAY be unique, but it would be very hard to tell and nearly impossible given his ludicris naming scheme for these strains. Spores are a valuable commodity and if people are willing to pay the price then a vendor, like The Keeper, can charge whatever he likes. The real shady part about his whole approach to the thing is that he attempts to catch customers before they are "educated" by praying largly on non-initiated "High Times" readers or those who don't want to spend more than 30 minutes researching the subject on the net.

At least we are a bit more enlightened here and can see through this BS.
