Hi guys, hope everyone is well. I've been for curried meat with rice and peas, with the old man, my sister and niece. My mother is Pataan so I'm raised on a South Asian or basically a Pakistani curry. But my dad's from the Carribbean, so he's always done it. I pleaded with him to pass on his recipe, looking back he was way further on into dementia than we knew. Probably just naturally he'd compensate or you'd put it down to anything else. An by the time we're in the GP's and my poor dad is struggling with saying the months of a year in order. It was too late for recipes.
It's crazy, he can't remember breakfast, but he will tell you all about bringing his school books to England expecting to go school at 14, and the guy laughing as he was sent into a mill didn't stop working till Covid and he did well for himself.
Sorry for prattling on. It's cathartic.

Does anyone have a minute to have a squizz at my grow bags. I'm really hoping at least one is pinning, the 3 weeks old APES. But Google says the 2 weeks old Golden Teachers may be contaminated and it could possibly infect my precious APES.

Google doesn't know what it's talking about :rofl: I've had a nasty ass green tub in a room with 30 other healthy ones. They're fine. No cross contamination. If youd like to share a photo of the gt we'd be happy to take a look.

Nope. No more uploading pics. I tried reducing my file size, but I don't have a clue. It was straightforward up to now.
I'm worried about the new Golden Teachers, but I certainly have at least 2, 3 if i count the one tryna break outta the side, little what can only be described as white mushroom looking things. Maybe pins. Or can I celebrate a success of growing a mushroom, as tiny and useless to me regarding going to space, I still dig on it. It'd be ace if it's the start of a bag full. Fingers crossed.

Looks fine to me, some take longer than others. I got a tub of pe here on its 4th week now pushing out crazy pins finally

I also see what looks like a Pin in the left corner
I would just be careful about how moist you get your pins once they all come In Ive had quite a few stop growing and that is what I personally believe was the cause

Thanks for that advice, I'm not sure at all about what I should be doing for the best. The instructions are not great, especially if you don't know what you're looking at. It's a real bummer I can't post pics on here anymore, cos that was a brilliant resource. That picture is nearly a week old now.

I worked out the craic with the pics. Your limited to a weekly amount of file size. I s wish I wudda known that before I was posting crappy, multiples of the same thing, and I wunta bothered posting adorable pics of my mum's dog and my dead cat sat on my head. Never mind !
It's a pity as I woke up to a textbook earlier pin or actual mushroom, it looks exactly like the pics online. Now I just need a load to pop up. It's amazing how much feelings I had on seeing the tiny little guy, I think I actually greeted it warmly on seeing it. Elated saying, "hello there mate" or I mighta just swore. I'm not sure I was too excited. Wish I could show you guys.

It's certainly a bloody mushroom. It looks very lonely in there, I do hope more pop up. It's also certainly getting bigger. It's truly awesome, so bummed I can't show it off. Not in my wildest dreams did I think the APE's would work. Hence I got the golden Teacher grow kit, and it's never looked as good as the first one. I'm worried it's gonna contaminate my little fun guy on his own in there.
I also wonder if eating him would do owt to me. Obviously i would never do such a thing.

I'm not sure what that is, but it's a minor. I shudda looked more closely. I would have used my alloted file size more wisely. If it's a monthly subscription fee, I'll be honest as wonderful and super helpful everyone has been, and nice too. Honestly I haven't had one negative encounter. One of the best things about it, was the fact it was free. Compared to the vendor info, they're pretty much just adverts. That shockingly always seem to end in the need of this essential thing. I literally got a heat mat on the strength of a well written ad, I think it might have actually killed it had you guys not told me to get rid.

At last. That's my golden teacher kit. It's a few weeks behind my pinning APE's, I'm worried it's contaminated and will ruin my beautiful APE's.
What do you guys reckon, if you could be so kind to have a squizz?

Doesn't look contaminated, but not the best picture. Cross contamination is not something I would worry about.
