life VS death.
    #2945533 - 07/30/04 03:51 PM (19 years, 8 months ago)

"I should kill you"

"I should bring you to life"

whats the difference?

they both have the same final effect.

The same final effect is not the same effect, in totality . One allows experience; one ends it.

but what's the use of experience when you're dead?

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. ~ Albert Einstein

Will we ever know? No, all we know is that we sense and we do everything in our power to use these senses to keep ourselves alive.

But i wonder why we do everything in our power possible not to die, in terms of instincts. Its like we already know what death is like so we try our best not to die...i wonder

life=experience

death=experience

and experience is where it is at.

I for one am very happy I was given this chance to experience. Appreciate the moment of every moment, and then maybe, death will just become another point of life. it's inevitable, so why worry about it?

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

i dont enjoy having to decide between vagrancy and supporting oppression.

i don't think it is as that cut and dry as it seems, and furthermore.  just because you have a home or a job doesn't mean you support oppression.

and where does this connect with your oriogianl idea you were trying to present?

sorry if I don't get it, I'm trying to though, please help me out here :smile:

Life may be a useless journey ending in death, but it is glorious. It burns like magnesium...blindingly bright. If it does not excite you to the core of your being...your being here...now...alive... If you light a fire it comes out of nothing and returns to nothing, but in between these times you can see most clearly and enjoy its warmth. One day you may look back on that day by that fire and feel strong emotion elicited by it's memory. It burns on ...

I now see life as a preparation for the next life in spirit. To the human thought, it seems unbearably pointless, but I suppose that because of the human thought its difficult to appreciate the benefits of struggle which will be reaped in the next life.

I used to fear death. Now, I welcome it. I hate the system of this life and the society, so I cling to the hope that the next life and its "system" is without foolishness and corruption.

this physical life is deeply mystical...

some say its to choose between good and evil and finally realise that good is what you really are but its more than that ...

The medical condition called life is 100% fatal...Something like an HIV infection or a cancer that has spread around your body and noone can do anything for your rebelious cells.

My take on it? Live,know,suffer,be happy.Life might me nothing,but now i say it a prankster Creator (God or Gods) might be laughing down at me on "how this being cant see the obvious). Personally i walk through my life trying to cause the least possible sorrow to others (well,im not exactly doing well in that task),and live it to the fullest.

A hedonist? Well,thats part of the deal but not in a mindless way.
I do not know about afterlife,i dont know about spirit.Its another thing what i WANT to happen after life and another thing what WILL happen.

I WANT a porsche,i HAVE no car and no way i will get a Porsche! (Psiloman just hears that he won the lottery ticket he never bought whooooooooohhooooooooooo,so much for my big words)

Does it matter after all?
