These are all in my pastures growing from my horses poop. Does any one know what it is/ The spore print is black and it bruises black slightly. The ones in the sahde are a darker color light brown. This one was in the open pasture they are light like this from the sun expect. I would like to introdude cubies to my pastures but would like to know what is growing in it now first. Thanks for all your help in advance.... L8ter!!!!!

ok that is deffinitly not a death cap because Amanita Virosa have white spore prints and the gills arent connected to the stem. lemme figure it out. how long is the stem in CM?

They vary so much. That one was 3 1/2 inches. Also I live in north middle Tennessee.

it wouldn't be any amanita, it's growing from horse poop, what for someone who knows what he's talking about kthanks.

Would it be ok to introduce cubes to this my pastures with this species fruiting here? Is this strain toxic?

Do you think it will hurt to grow cubes in the pasture with this strain fruiting there?

I don't see any problem at all. Just make sure that you never slack and always identify mushrooms you plan on eating.

man i find those little things everywhere where i hunt i hate them but they seem to be like a precursor to cubes but im not sure

They're not precursors, but they often do grow where cubensis grow.
As far as introducing cubensis, go right ahead
