dunking method for casings?
    #2944159 - 07/30/04 12:19 PM (12 years, 4 months ago)

Is there a dunking method for casings? Or is dunking only done with cakes?

I can't remember where I read about that very subject here at the shroomery??? I'm sure a good search would turn something up. I remeber that they scraped off the old top casing layers and filled the tub of myc. up with water for 12 hours and drained it off then applied new casing layer to the myc. after the third flush But, there is much more info you can find. DO A SEARCH

you can submerge he whole casing in clean water for a minute if you like - but spraying will get the moisture back, so you needn't bother

Do you think it would be good to dunk a 4 cake casing under water for 2-4 hours?
