i found this 1 mushroom, still alive but ripped stem on the ground. i had no idea what it was but it looked like an amanita to me.
1. Red cap, NO WHITE WARTS, about 4 centimeters long, and a flat shaped cap. 2. stem was broken but as far as i could seeit was about 3-4 inches long. 3. The gills were white. the cap came over the gills.

who knows? I suggest you don't eat it.
in order to identify an amanita muscaria we need to know more, but I can tell you that it isn't what your looking for.
Frankly, I do not think your ready to expiriance this mushroom, it is much diffrent from psilocybin mushrooms.

it's diffrent, it can suck though, depends on the mushroom and how it's perpared.

Your mushroom sounds like a poisonous Russula to me. They are a very common red mushroom whith white gills, no veil, and a white stem. They are much more common than Amanita muscaria, which I've heard sucks anyway. Never tried it.

Very sound advice. Exactly what I was thinking.

Amanita Muscaira contains muscimol and ibtoenic acid, not psilocyin am i right? I was just curious gdman420 what the experience is like, if you have tried them.
Peace

i recomend you read the faq as it relates to mushroom descriptions before you ask for an identification. you must always be careful because some of the less experienced users here will slip up and give an id or advice when there is clearly not enough information. you should also read the section in the rules thread on trusted identifiers if you have not yet done so
the effects of A. muscaria are in no way similar to those of the psilocybian mushrooms. heated drying helps to convert the ibotenic acid present in them into muscimol, [one of?] the active principal in the mushroom. it is loved by a few and disliked by most who give it a chance.
-------------------- Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
