I found these at my friends grandmas ranch, in a shady spot surrounded by horse dung, the gills are white and will not drop any spores. They show slight, slight blueing on the bottom of the stem near where I picked from the ground. Hoping for a good ID sorry about the pictures, im not very good with my camera yet.

Even ruling some things out would be great

this does not quite cut it but since you seem willing to try, i will give you the chance to write a description for these. if you don't i'm gonna have to lock this.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

One thing we can rule out is them being active.... Doesn't look like any active species to me. We'd really need a spore print and all the other things listed in the forum rules thread to determine an ID>

a. Local- Northern Colorado, practically surrounded by horse dung b. Gills are white, no visible spores and spore print failed to obtain spores c. caps ranging from 2-5 centimeters wide, stems ranging from 6-9 cm. long d. Stems are skinny, white at top fading to light brown on bottom, slight blueing on the bottoms of the stems e. Cap is a light, cinnamon brown, when I picked them they were somewhat flat
f. could not obtain a spore print but a small amount of spores are slightly visible in the geils, it appears to a black/purple color g. very slightly blue bruising* h. Scent of mushroom is identical to a P cube.
Sorry about the poor description at first I was trying to get it up before I left for something real quick. Hope this helps

if the gills are actualy white when fresh, you may need to find some fresh ones and try printing them on black paper.
are the specimens ion the pics as dry as they look to be? if so, it's no wonder you aren't getting a print.

You can also try putting a few drops of water on the cap to rehydrate them and encourage them to drop spores.

Assuming pale spores, they look like a Marasmius or Collybia. Without more information we're not going to be able to make any good guesses.
Happy mushrooming!
