verm on colonized jars
    #2935451 - 07/28/04 03:05 AM (19 years, 8 months ago)

First off, my jars are colonizing quite slowly, the syring wasnt very dark, so think it didn't have alot of spores. BUt, whats the longest it has taken some of your jars to colonize?

Now to the point, how do you put verm on the cakes after colonized? Just take out of bag you bought it in, spray it down with some water from a mist bottle and drizzle on cakes?

my first set of BRF jars took like a long time to all completely colonize, prob something like 40 days for the last couple
but i didn't incubate initially (for the first few days)

i assume your verm question is regarding double end casing or dunk and roll
remove the verm from the bag
add water until just over your desired water content
then place in the microwave for five minutes
take out stir
nuke five more minutes
let cool a long time (90 min +)
then proceed per the tek you are following
good luck
