If you've only found contams with the mexican jars, and not the golden techer, I would be inclined to say that you had a contaminated syringe. Where did you get them from?

Yep...bad syringe. any time my pet snail does a batch of jars he innoc's with at least 2-3 different sources [spore syringe, mycelia water, agar wedges, etc] to isloate any possible source of contamination. If every jar goes south it was obviously a bum batch or substrate [very rare if you PC]. He uses one of those Ball canning markers [$0.89 at wally-mart]to write the strain, source, and innoc date on the lid of each jar, that way you don't have to worry about forgetting what's what.
