Hey all!!

My humidity in my terrarium is only at 88%. I can't get it to go any higher. I mister the sides and put it in a little warmer area.

Is 88% humidity going to be o.k. and how else can I bring it up, it just seems like it doesn't want to.

Just in case you haven't done it already, you should calibrate your hygrometer to be sure you are getting an accurate reading.

How do you do that? I just picked up a humidy gauge from wal-mart $6.

Is that not the right meter?

soak a wash cloth in water and ring it out, then wrap the hygrometer in the cloth for like 10-15 minutes then check the humdity as soon as you unwrap it. it should read at least 100%

Well I just picked this one up off of ebay. It's a lot better quality than my $6 Wal-mart

What do you think?

I just unwrapped a towel from around the humidity guage and it read 83 it seems like its stuck at 83 and goes down when I take it out of the chamber. Well that's a $6 Wal-mart special for ya.

Cant wait for my new on to come, ebay link 1 post up.
